Bio

My work is to improve global food and diet measurement, to enable increased action toward healthy diets and sustainable food systems. My research is focused on metrics and measurement of diet quality, food prices, and food environments. This focus stems from over a decade of consulting for international organizations on the topic of linking agriculture, food systems and nutrition, including with the World Bank, FAO, WHO and other UN institutions, and several bilateral government donors. I have worked in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America, including with agricultural and indigenous communities.
